Kentucky owes its original settlement to the work of “Longhunters” of the 18th century. These hardy explorers ventured together into the wilderness beyond the Appalachians for extended periods of time armed only with a long rifle, a dog, and a robust dose of bravery. Work trips today require less daring perhaps, but they can be (or seem) just as lengthy. Our main floor suite, which features a separate kitchen, living room and bedroom, is ideally suited for travelers needing a home away from home, whether for a protracted stay or a one-night getaway.
